Around 40% of all land is sold “off-market”, due to instructions from the vendor, it is not openly advertised.
Often, a proportion of our portfolio consists of “off-market” land, which we do not actively market or advertise on our website.
Vendors choose to sell land “off-market” for a variety of reasons, i.e. personal reasons, they may not wish to notify the local neighbourhood that the land is for sale. It can also be cost effective to sell land in this way.
It is for this very reason that we always ask clients to contact us in the first instance to discuss their requirements, as it may be that we have “off-market” land that could be suitable.
